Arthur and Curious George will be our special guests at this Fall 2010 Clubhouse Event.

The Lands at Hillside Farms Fall Festival will feature:

Children's Games and Activities
Story Time with Arthur and Curious George
Arts and Crafts Activities
Face Painting
Live Music
Artisan Demonstrations
Basket Weavers, Stone Carvers, and Black Smithing
Open Tours of Barns with Farm Animals
Healthy Cooking Demonstrations
Free Parking for WVIA Clubhouse Families

Reservations are not required. Just bring your Lands at Hillside Farms Flyer or WVIA Member Card!

*Pony Rides, Ice Cream and Food are not included!

Directions to The Lands at Hillside Farms
Take Exit 170B off Interstate 81 (Route 309 toward Wilkes Barre).
At the first light (about 6 miles) take a left onto Hillside Road.
The Lands at Hillside Farms is 1 mile up on the right.

If you pledged $40, you will receive 2 free admissions.

WVIA Clubhouse Event
The Lackawanna County Coal Mine and The Anthracite Heritage Museumat McDade Park in Scranton
Saturday, November 6th, from 10AM to 3PM and Sunday, November 7th from 11AM to 3PM.
Present WVIA Member Card or Valid ID for free admission.

The Coal Mine Tour takes you into what was once active Anthracite Coal Mine. There are no remaining active deep mines in the area, so you are literally "going down in history". The Anthracite Heritage Museum explores the lives and labors of the people of Pennsylvania's hard coal region.
